The Guide Line for the Stress Management of the Diabetes

Stress is a normal part of everyday life. Although most people conceptualize stress as events or situations, stress is very individual. Stress can make it more difficult to manage health conditions such as diabetes. Stress management training includes techniques such as progressive muscle relaxation, meditation, deep breathing exercises, and self-assertiveness. Stress management can result in clinically significant benefits for patients with diabetes. (Korean Clinical Diabetes J 11:215-219, 2010)
