Diet Therapy for Dyslipidemia in Patients with Diabetes

Abstract
Dyslipidemia is not only hyperlipidemia such as hypertriglyceridemia or hypercholesterolemia but also including of broad concept of reduction of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and changes in the composition of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, it is proved by cardiovascular disease of rates and the resulting increase in mortality. Diabetes is the leading cause of death by cardiovascular complications such as myocardial infarction and cardiovascular disease, high LDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, the association of the lower risk of cardiovascular disease is well-known fact that the reduction of LDL cholesterol, manage diabetes as this emphasizes the importance of being. Commonly, drugs, very effective and safe like statin, are developed and diet interests is becoming to be low. However, according to DELTA (Dietary Effects on Lipoproteins and Thrombogenic Activity) study about research for effect of life therapy, total caloric for the percentage of saturated fatty acids calorie drop from 15 to 6.1%, LDL cholesterol was lowering by average 11%, a total of over 6,356 pregnant women tested in meta-analysis synthesized the results of a 24% lower incidence of coronary heart disease effects have been reported. Furthermore, performing pharmacotherapy as well as dietary faithfully, statin dose is doubled to raise can make a difference beyond the medical costs can be reduced. In this paper, for the treatment of dyslipidemia in diabetic patients presenting with diet and to practice as educators need to know in order to help food and dyslipidemia factors affecting the method is introduced and the proper diet.
